wooden baths
Wooden baths are not so different from acrylic baths in the
care and maintenance required:
- Keep the bath out of direct sunlight and avoid hot dry air and chemicals.
- Wash inside with a mild soap and rinse before use. Occasionally wash the external surfaces including underneath.
- Occasionally apply beeswax sealant to all surfaces, particularly underneath. For safety, don't let the floor of the bath become slippery.
- Keep the wood moisture level constant inside by having a lid or cover, particularly when it's not in use for a considerable period.
